Every once in a while we go outside with a pair of scissors and clip off a few Redbor Kale leaves for our morning omelets. One person visiting the farm commented on that. Aren’t they frozen? Commitment Form

Farm Fresh Eggs

Farm Member Rules and Responsibilities

U-Picks: Members shall harvest U-Pick produce only in marked fields (marked with colorful flags). Care shall be taken to avoid damaging the plants while harvesting. Culinary herbs (enough for a meal or two) and flowers (bunch size less than 1 ½ inches in diameter) are considered a bonus each week if you like. Herbs and flowers in amounts larger than this can be purchased with your punch cards. Medicinal herbs may be used only by approved members. Continue reading

Work Share Application

Some activities to do with your work share on Elk Meadow Farm & Nursery: Water, weed, harvest, plant, transplant, pot up, mulch, clear the forest, build arbors/bird houses/gates/raised beds, clean out chicken and duck houses, rake clearings, build burn piles, build growing beds, show people where and what they can pick, monitor children, more.
