Farm Happenings

Approximately 4 acres of beautiful flower and food gardens in growing Zone 5 (Colder growing areas than Moscow or Lewiston). On our walking tours you’ll see a Eucalyptus tree that has survived the winter (and be taught the reason why), a fig tree that just loves the protection of our hoop house, our kiwi arbor, raised beds, the Batik Iris Patch (yes, we’re selling tubers this year), Paw Paw trees, two types of ginger, flowers galore, fruits you’ll not find in any local stores, zone 4 table grapes, our fruit orchard, Pixie’s Berry Patch, lots of arbors and vining plants. We have Indian Runner ducks, rare and endangered chickens (and our regular flock of older “girls” who live at Chicken Hill), our newest fancy chicken coop, butterfly gardens, a variety of composting and permaculture techniques, medicinal and culinary herbs and more.
